Søndag får vi storfint besøk på Riksscenen, nemlig Sharqi Ensemble som har utrolig mye kul musikk fra Midtøsten som de så gjerne vil spille for oss.
Shble, Inger og Michaela har alle tre flyttet til et annet land for å gå på skole og lære musikk. Inger flyttet fra Norge til Libanon for å studere arabisk musikk på fiolin, mens Michaela flyttet fra Slovakia til Norge for å studere trommer ved Norges Musikkhøgskole. Omtrent samtidig kom Shble til Norge fra Syria og begynte for alvor å spille oud. De tre musikerne møttes i Oslo gjennom en felles lidenskap for musikk fra Midtøsten, og startet Sharqi Ensemble.

Sunday we get a great visit at Riksscenen by Sharqi Ensemble, who have an incredible cool music from the Middle East that they would love to play for us.
Shble, Inger and Michaela have all moved to another country to go to school and learn music. Inger moved from Norway to Lebanon to study Arabic music on the violin, while Michaela moved from Slovakia to Norway to study drums at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Around the same time, Shble came to Norway from Syria and started playing the oud in earnest. The three musicians met in Oslo through a shared passion for music from the Middle East, and started Sharqi Ensemble.
