Folkelarm 2023 – på Riksscenen i Oslo
Arrangementet som i år arrangeres for 18. gang finner sted på Riksscenen i Oslo 16.- 19. november, og byr på folke- og verdensmusikk i full bredde. Hvert år blir både internasjonale og nasjonale delegater fra musikkbransjen invitert til bransjetreffet som har som mål å markedsføre norske og nordiske folkemusikkartister.
Folkelarm starter torsdag formiddag med seminarer og avsluttes med festkonsert med utdeling av FOLKELARMPRISENE på kvelden. Fredag og lørdag fortsetter vi med seminarer, konserter og dansespill. Det blir også danseforestilling og akustiske konserter.
Konserter, dansefest og akustiske konserter
I år har vi utvidet antall artister slik at både publikum og musikkbransje skal få oppleve et bredt spekter av norsk og nordisk tradisjonsmusikk, fra helt unge lovende debutanter til mer etablerte grupper og artister.
I år blir det også fokus på den dansbare musikken, Vinnerne av årets gruppespel under Landsfestivalen i gamaldansmusikk skal i tillegg to utvalgte artister spille opp til dans.
Hver artist får vist seg fram for nasjonal og internasjonal bransje og publikum innendørs på Riksscenens profesjonelle scener. I tillegg inviterer vi til akustiske intimkonserter i lavvoen utendørs. De akustiske konsertene med fyr på bålpanna, har blitt meget godt mottatt.

- Mengden søknader til årets bransjetreff viser at Folkelarm fremdeles er en veldig attraktiv arena for våre norske musikere å presentere musikken sin på. Årets artister er derfor er en gjeng som virkelig brenner for å vise frem hva de står for, sier Ann Helen Erichsen, prosjektleder for Folkelarm.
I tillegg til konserter vil det også bli arrangert seminar og workshops i forbindelse med bransjetreffet. Årets Folkelarmjury har bestått av Terje Foshaug, Gro Rattama og Karl Seglem.

Folkelarm 2023 - at Riksscenen in Oslo
The event, which this year is being organized for the 18th time, takes place at Riksscenen in Oslo from 16 to 19 November, and offers a full range of folk and world music. Every year, both international and national delegates from the music industry are invited to the industry meeting, which aims to market Norwegian and Nordic folk music artists.
Folkelarm starts on Thursday morning with seminars and ends with an Opening concert with the distribution of the FOLKELARM PRIZES in the evening. On Friday and Saturday we continue with seminars, concerts and dance performances. There will also be a dance performance and acoustic concerts.
Concerts, dance parties and acoustic concerts
This year we have expanded the number of artists so that both the public and the music industry will experience a wide range of Norwegian and Nordic traditional music, from very young promising debutantes to more established groups and artists.
This year there will also be a focus on dance music. The winners of this year's group play during the National Festival, in addition to two selected showcase artists, will have a dance showcase
Each artist gets to show off for the national and international industry and the public indoors on Riksscenen's professional stages. In addition, we invite you to intimate acoustic concerts in the open air. The acoustic concerts -- with fire on the stove -- have been very well received.

- The amount of applications for this year's industry meeting shows that Folkelarm is still a very attractive arena for our Norwegian and Nordic musicians to present their music. This year's artists are therefore a group who are really passionate about showing off what they stand for, says Ann Helen Erichsen, project manager for Folkelarm.
In addition to concerts, seminars and workshops will also be organized in connection with the industry meeting.
This year's Folkarm jury has consisted of Terje Foshaug, Gro Rattama and Karl Seglem.
