Folkelarm Opening Night at Parkteatret is a prelude to the Folkelarm festival and a new initiative from four Scandinavian partners.
Together, Supertraditional, KANT, Folkelarm, and Parkteatret have created a joint opening night with the aim of showcasing a broader artistic vision and representation of the contemporary Nordic folk music scene.
On stage, an all-star lineup of Scandinavian artists will present three unique concerts, specially curated by the partners. You'll experience both established names and exciting new voices.

The opening night features an exclusive release concert with Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen, who is releasing her third solo album on Grappa Music Publishing this autumn. She is joined on stage by renowned multi-instrumentalist Anders Røine and percussionist Helge Norbakken. Together, they promise a powerful and atmospheric concert experience.
In the newly formed Annas Blå, Swedish folk musician and fiddler Anna-Tove Möller joins forces with three prominent names from the experimental jazz and improvisation scene: Egil Kalman, Konrad Agnas, and Johan Graden. On this special evening, they will be joined by Sofia HK, whose latest album has brought widespread acclaim in Sweden, establishing her as one of the country's most exciting emerging artists. Her songs have also taken her on tour across Europe alongside The Tallest Man On Earth.
Julia Bengtson is a musician and artist who is curious yet questioning, restless yet deeply rooted. Her life is shaped by contrasts and contradictions, and by a constant gaze toward the world around her, both close at hand and from a distance. Musically, her work draws inspiration from both Swedish indie pop and Scandinavian folk traditions. Julia has performed at SPOT Festival, West Pride in Gothenburg, and as support act for Norwegian folk supergroup Ævestaden, including here at Parkteatret.
When the concerts come to an end, we'll raise the energy even further: DJs, jam sessions, and a packed dance floor will keep the night going.
This is more than just a concert night. It is a celebration of Nordic collaboration, diversity, and music that both honours tradition and points toward the future.
Bring your friends, arrive early, and stay late!
