Gjevre, Odde & Vårdal (NO)
Gjevre, Odde & Vårdal is a trio that plays energetic traditional Norwegian slått and round dance music in close interplay, often with danceable music as a starting point. The trio has released two albums, Husklugumt in 2020 and Vandring in 2023. The former received the Folkelarm Award in the dance music category, while Vandring was nominated in the same category in 2023.
Gjevre, Odde & Vårdal are highly active as concert performers and dance musicians, and they also give numerous workshops. Their music is a strong blend of original compositions and traditional tunes. The combination of diatonic button accordion, Hardanger fiddle, and accordion gives their sound and expression a distinctive character. The trio will release their third album, Horisont, in the summer of 2026.

Gjevre, Odde & Vårdal er ein trio som spelar energisk tradisjonell slåtte- og runddansmusikk i tett samspel, ofte med dansbar musikk som utgangspunkt. Trioen har gjeve ut to album, "Husklugumt" i 2020 og "Vandring" i 2023. Førstnemnde album fekk Folkelarmprisen i kategorien dansespel og "Vandring" blei nominert i same kategori i 2023.
Gjevre, Odde & Vårdal er svært aktive som konsert- og dansespelemenn, og held i tillegg mykje kurs. Musikken er ein god miks av egenkomponert stoff og tradisjonelle slåttar. Samspelet med torader, hardingfele og trekkspel gjer at dåmen og uttrykket blir særegent. Trioen gjev sommaren 2026 ut sitt tredje album «Horisont».
