In Nattsvermere, Naaljos Ljom and Mamelukk come together—two creative forces that, in their own ways, cultivate folk music, the body, and rhythm with both reverence and anarchy.
Together with the audience, they embark on a journey through the borderlands between performance, concert, club, and free dance, opening the doors to a musical and physical universe where anything can happen.
Naaljos Ljom, the duo from Rogaland, draws energy from traditional tunes, springar rhythms, and archival recordings from across the country. With fiddle, synths, drums, and a powerful drive, they tweak traditional music to new heights.
Led by artistic director and choreographer Silje Onstad Hålien, Mamelukk meets the music as a living image—a bodily response to the ecstasy of the performance—in a space where sound and movement merge, and where the audience is drawn in through ears, eyes, and the entire body.

I Nattsvermere møtast Naaljos Ljom og Mamelukk – to skaparkrefter som på kvart sitt vis dyrkar folkemusikken, kroppen og rytmen med både andakt og anarki.
Saman med publikum legg dei ut på ei reise i grenselandet mellom performance, konsert, klubb og fridans, og opnar dørene til eit musikalsk og fysisk univers der alt kan skje.
Naaljos Ljom, duoen frå Rogaland, hentar driv frå slåttar, springarrytmer og arkivopptak frå heile landet. Med fele, synthar, trommer og tungt trøkk tweakar dei tradisjonsmusikken til nye høgder.
Med Silje Onstad Hålien – kunstnarleg leiar og koreograf – i spissen, møter Mamelukk musikken som eit levande bilete, eit kroppsleg svar på ekstasen i spelet, i eit rom der lyd og rørsle smeltar saman, og der publikum blir dregne inn med øyre, auge og heile kroppen.
